Akin Babayigit is a Strategic Partner Manager for Facebook, based in London.  He currently looks after mobile gaming relationships in the EMEA region, as well as looking after new developer acquisition.  Prior to Facebook, Akin was an advisor to Sidar Sahin, the CEO of Peak Games. Prior to moving back to Europe, Akin spent several years in the US working for Skype, InMobi and McKinsey & Co.  At Skype, Akin helped the management team navigate the spin-off from eBay, and worked closely with the investor consortium to identify strategic priorities and helped the management improve user engagement and monetization and drive the mobile efforts aggressively prior to company’s sale to Microsoft.    

Akin holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Yale University, and a BS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Prior to founding Gilt Groupe, Alexis served as general manager and business development director for AOL's ecommerce businesses. In 2009 during his Junior year semester abroad, Eric attended his grandfather’s alma mater and studied Industrial Design at the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands.

Eric was profoundly changed by his experience in Holland, and while cycling through the streets of Delft, he conceived of his first invention - a wrist watch that displays alerts for incoming cell phone calls and text messages.

Upon graduation Eric formed Allerta Inc and formed a team to produce and market the inPulse watch while living with a group of other start-up engineers at Batavia House in Waterloo.

His previous ventures include Funpac, a mobile gaming studio which he set up in 2003. Funpac games were distributed in 30 countries through more than 50 operators and portals when the company was acquired by the biggest portal in Turkey in 2005. Izlesene.com, Sidar's second venture focused on social video sharing, launched in early 2006. Izlesene was the highest-valued Internet business exit in Turkey at the time and is still one of the most visited web properties in Turkey. Born in 1980 in Istanbul, Y. Emre Güzer started his professional career at Pamukbank in 2001. Holds a master’s degree on Management Information Systems, Mr. Güzer worked at Assist Line A.Ş between 2002 and 2004 and participated to the establishment process of Boyner Back-Up card. Y. Emre Güzer met Electronic Commerce at Garanti Bankası in 2004 and conducted the operations of B2B platform, CRM infrastructure and improving customer relations at Hedef Alliance Holding afterwards. After joining Teknoloji Holding in 2007, he took part in the Business Development process of the “one and only” price comparison project that incorporates the purchasing function. In the mean time he actively took part in “Secure Database Integration in E-Commerce” project, supported by TUBITAK and TTGV.

Within Garanti Payment Systems, Mr. Güzer played active roles in the establishment of many payment and verification systems that are used in Turkey as the Electronic Commerce Products Director. His articles were published in various academic resources that focus on the online world and he provided training that focuses on the invariables of Electronic Commerce at various institutions including Interbank Card Centre. As of 2011, Y. Emre Güzer was appointed as the Country Director of PayU Turkey. Mr. Guzer is a board member of EDER (E-commerce Infrastructure Vendors Association) while he has been member of Specialization Committee of E-commerce incorporated within Istanbul Chamber of Commerce since July 2012.
